Seamen's Welfare:

The Navik Manovikas Kendra is a welfare organization that is primarily a counselling center for seamen and their families. It focuses on

• instituting studies to find out the social , psychological and occupational problems of the seafaring community and their families, and finding suitable methods to solve them.
• Providing counseling, particularly in the matter of vocational guidance to the children.
• Providing necessary assistance in meeting the aspirations of the seamen and their children.
